Fresca is a 15.2H, beautiful, revised PRE mare. She embodies all of the characteristics of the classic Spanish Horse.
She is very baroque looking with a lovely arched neck and rounded body.
Her movement is very elevated and eye-catching and she carries herself naturally collected.
Fresca is intelligent and loving as well as beautiful - she is very people-oriented and gentle - she learns quickly and willingly. She passes along these wonderful qualities to her offspring.
We have chosen Fresca as our foundation mare because not only does she have impeccable bloodlines, but the looks and personality to match!
Bred by JP & Shelley Giacomini, through both Sire and Dam, Fresca’s bloodlines include the famous Bocado/Terry and Yeguada Militar (Military).
Fresca is registered with the IALHA and is revised by the Cria Caballar.
Fresca’s sire, Cordobes XX, was a 1991 IALHA champion stallion and was featured on the cover of renowned photographer, Robert Vavra’s, Vavra’s Horses: The Ten Most Beautiful Equines in the World.
Cordobes is owned by Ross Andalusians. Www.Rossandalusians.com
Riley is a lovely, sweet registered AQHA mare. Small in stature at 14.3H, she is extremely athletic - both well balanced and well
muscled. Her bloodlines are 100% racing, her sire being Bully Bullion, a champion racehorse and industry leading sire. She is the spitting image of him - only smaller. I have traced her bloodlines back to the famous Man O’ War and she is a distant relative of Seabiscuit.
In 2005, she produced her first foal, an absolutely gorgeous bay Azteca filly out of Heroe MAC, proving that she passes on her looks, temperment and athleticism.
She is bred to our Chestnut PRE stallion, Amador, for a 2007 foal. This will be Amador’s first foal and being out of our beloved Riley, will be very special to us. We can’t wait to see what they produce!
